Mark shares how the church in Thessalonica continued to grow in faith and rejected the world, because they received the word of God and accepted it as the word of God. He reminds us that many times wisdom, or the opportunity for growth, comes to us in unrecognizable forms. That we must be open to change and growth, and intentionally learning through our devotion to Jesus each day.
